We welcome you to experience a journey to the Hawkesbury River's ultimate getaway, Amaroo Cottage. This secluded, tranquil retreat is the perfect escape or romantic haven. Amaroo Cottage looks out across breathtaking water views and natural bushland. With its rolling green gardens extending down to a small private riverside beach and Boathouse Studio, it is the perfect place to relax. 

Amaroo is accessible only by boat, but there are plenty of options for boat hire, water taxi or ferry.

Sleeps up to six people with full kitchen, laundry and 1.5 bathrooms

In the main cottage:

• Master bedroom overlooking the water (Queen bed)

• Second bedroom (2 king single beds)

• Full bathroom plus loo with a view

• Fully equipped kitchen and laundry

• Wood fireplace

• Extensive balconies and outdoor entertaining space

In the Boathouse Studio:  (just down the path from the main house, right on the water)

• Main studio bedroom (Queen bed)

• Private deck directly on the water

Check-in/check-out

Standard check-in and check-out time is 4pm. Please let us know if you wish to vary this.

Rates

Rates starting from:
A$475 / night for two people. Minimum stay of two (2) nights.

Additional nights might be able to be arranged. Get in touch.

The fee for extra people is $50 per person per night.

All rates are subject to change at our discretion, prior to booking and may increase over long weekends and public holidays.

Getting to Amaroo

Amaroo is accessible only by boat. You can visit on your own boat or we recommend:

• Hawkesbury Water Taxi +61 422 300 100

• The Riverboat Postman Ferry +61 400 600 111. This ferry only runs during the week and once a day.

• Brooklyn Marina +61 (2) 9985 7722 for those who want to be able to head up and down the river on their own, Brooklyn Marina offers tinny hire.
